The Germans take their beer very seriously. To protect the quality they enacted the German Purity Laws or Reinheitsgebot. Simply put the laws say only four ingredients are allowed in beer: Water, Grain, Hops, and Yeast. No preservatives or additives of any kind are permitted. |

While this is the law in Germany, it is seldom practiced elsewhere. Thus most beers are full of preservatives to increase shelf life and additives to clarify the beer. Unfortunately these chemicals also are known to leave you "feeling" your beers the next morning. We have chosen to adhere to the Purity Laws. It is our goal to produce the finest beer possible, brewed right here in Iowa. You can drink Einfach Beer with peace of mind knowing only four ingredients went into your beer. |
