German for light, but don't be fooled, this
is no "light" beer. The Germans called it
light due to its golden color, not its taste,
which is a simple yet full malt profile that
is perfectly complemented by a delicate
addition of hops. It simply is the perfect
anytime beer.
Helles
German for dark, this is anything but your
"average" dark beer. It combines the
robust roasted malt profile with a medium
body and smooth finish. The result is a
dark beer you can drink all night long.
Dunkel
Every season is full of its own simple
pleasures. The beer that goes with any
given weather is no exception. This last beer
changes as we here in Iowa go through the
seasons.

Current seasonal is our Scottish Lager. A bit
of a hybrid beer, it combines the classic
german techniques and yeast with peated
Malts. These malts are often used in scotch
to provide a unique smoked flavor and
aroma.
